We are collecting event ideas for the LMF 2024 conference

Lviv Media Forum launches a call for ideas and proposals for the programme of the LMF 2024 conference, which will take place in Lviv on 16-18 May 2024.

This year's conference will focus on understanding in a polarised world. We will discuss the possibility of finding a common language that will help the civilised world unite in defence of its values. Also, we will talk about the role of media, civil society, diplomacy and other stakeholders in this understanding. Ukrainian and foreign experts, media professionals and public intellectuals will participate in the conference.
The conference will be held in English. 

We need events (discussions, presentations, public interviews, etc.) that: 

  • promote global solidarity with Ukraine; 
  • analyse practical challenges that are important for Ukrainian media and civil society to overcome; 
  • be understandable and important for Ukrainian and foreign conference participants (and ideally, involve both);
  • facilitate the exchange of experience and networking between them. 

Please note that the conference will be held offline (without the possibility of online participation) in Lviv.

The deadline for filling out the form is 26 January. 

All received proposals will be considered by the conference programme board. We do not guarantee that we will implement all the ideas proposed, but we will certainly analyse and take into account each proposal.
