Who are we?
We are the team of the NGO Lviv Media Forum. For the past 11 years, we’ve been working to build an effective, democratic society shaped by healthy communication. We do this by empowering media, institutions, and public figures capable of fostering meaningful dialogue — in Ukraine and beyond.
One of our key tools for change is the LMF conference — an annual event that serves as a vibrant platform for a global community of media professionals, communicators, and opinion leaders. People who speak the truth, value complexity, apply common sense, and practice democracy through everyday decisions and actions.
Leading LMF means shaping the future of media in Europe and beyond — and, ultimately, making freedom possible.
We’re looking for a strategic leader to oversee the planning and delivery of the LMF conference.
As a Ukrainian team, we can’t ignore how much it matters to us that Ukraine be seen as an equal player in the global arena. Our goal is for LMF to become a must-visit event on the international media map — not out of solidarity or sympathy, but because of the value we offer: expertise, experience, community, and solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategy – develop and implement the strategic vision of LMF conference: positioning, storytelling, and unique value proposition
- International Partnerships – build and grow partnerships with media organizations, donors, think tanks, and thought leaders
- Fundraising & Contributions – secure financial and strategic support from Ukrainian and international stakeholders
- Global Integration – represent LMF at international events and cultivate year-round global dialogue
- Team Coordination – work closely with fundraising, communications, finance, and the program board
- Institutional Development – laying the groundwork to transform LMF into a self-sustaining and lasting international initiative
Our future team member:
- understands the media and communications landscape and how it works;
- thinks strategically and communicate ideas clearly;
- knows how to bring people together and lead teams;
- has experience building partnerships and attracting funding;
- can manage international projects in media, communications, advocacy, or fundraising;
- has international experience (work, study, or collaborative projects);
- is engaged with both global and Ukrainian social, political, and cultural developments.
