Ukrainian journalists could receive free psychological support online

Lviv Media Forum, in partnership with Mental Health and Trauma Therapy Center "Prostir Nadii" (Space of Hope) of Ukrainian Catholic University, is launching a psychological support program for journalists experiencing psychological deterioration or trauma, professional burnout, fear of losing their job, or other possible difficulties.

The first round will cover 10-15 people (up to a hundred hours of consultation in total). Counseling will be conducted by the therapists of the Mental Health and Trauma Therapy Center "Prostir Nadii" (Space of Hope), which is a part of the Mental Health Institute of the Ukrainian Catholic University.

Consultations will be held remotely via an online connection. Participants are guaranteed full anonymity within the program.

Journalists in need of psychological assistance could contact with the psychotherapist by calling 097 416 94 94 (Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm) or by emailing at prostirnadii@gmail.com.

The Mental Health and Trauma Therapy Center "Prostir Nadii" has been operating since 2012 and provides qualified psychological / psychotherapy assistance for common disorders such as depression, REM behavior disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorder, difficulties connected to bereavement experience, problems with relationships and communication, lack of self-confidence.

The main methods of work: cognitive-behavioral therapy, schema therapy, EMDR.
