Join our new #StayAtHome Media Stories by LMF project
We have been thinking for a long time about how we could compensate for the cancellation of LMF 2020, but we’ve realized we couldn't.
At the Forum joy, energy and creativity are produced on a large scale through close and trusting communication between people around the world. Unfortunately, the world is shut down now and it’s impossible to gather the community in Lviv.
However, we are convinced that leaving you without a minimal dose of LMF will be completely cruel and inhuman. That's why, despite everything, we've found a way to provide you with a bit of joy and inspiration. The ancient Greeks said: "If we cannot come to LMF, LMF will come to us!"
So, every week we will hold online meetings with LMF speakers. Our friends from around the world are going to share with us how the pandemic has changed their work and what can help the media to make their stories relevant and visible to the audience during the global crisis.
The real god of SMM strategies Franak Viacorka, Pulitzer Prize winner and human story virtuoso Tom Hallman, Yusuf and Sumaiya Omar - videographers who turned storytelling into an engine of local changes and Kirsten Han, the founder of a cross-border reporters network from Asia, whose materials challenge the oversimplification of ideas and perceptions, are already preparing for online talks.
And this is just the beginning!
