We invite Ukrainian journalists to a summer residency in the Carpathians

The Lviv Media Forum team, together with the Prague Civil Society Center, start enrolling on the residency program in the Carpathians for Ukrainian journalists.

The project aims to provide physical and psychological recovery for media workers affected by the war.

“Foreign residencies are an area of work we are currently actively developing. We understand that the so-called retreat is necessary because the media faced not only financial difficulties but also excessive workload and high-stress levels”, — says the LMF team.

Media professionals (journalists, photojournalists, videographers, project managers, etc.) who have at least two years of work experience before the war and journalists who worked at the forefront or experienced traumatic events can become residency participants.

The residency will consist of several shifts, which last 8 days each. The first one starts on July 15. Journalists can choose convenient dates when filling out the form.

The program offers an opportunity to rest, recharge, exchange experiences with colleagues and gain new skills. The residency covers joint departures and returns to Lviv, accommodation in the Carpathians, three meals a day at the location, and expenses for the organization of the cultural program (excursions and walks in the mountains, discussion clubs, lectures and other networking).

To participate in the residency, fill out the online form at forms.gle/myf9sygj9prPw2rX9. The deadline is August 15.

Participants will receive the complete residency program after the selection stage. If you have additional questions about the residency, please write us at info@lvivmediaforum.com.
