Presentation and Discussion of a New Platform for Journalists

On December 9 at 4:00 PM (Kyiv time), the Lviv Media Forum will unveil a new project — a catalog of over 150 AI-powered tools. The catalog includes tools for working with text, audio, visual, and multimedia content.

In addition to the tools themselves, the platform features:

  • a selection of recent research on AI use in media and beyond;
  • examples of AI tools applied in Ukrainian and international newsrooms;
  • key ethical protocols, guides, and best practices for working with AI.

During the presentation:

  • we will introduce the catalog’s content and capabilities and explain how it can be useful for different tasks;
  • invited speakers will share which tasks can be delegated to AI in newsroom and team workflows;
  • we will answer audience questions and discuss the challenges journalists face when working with AI.

Speakers:

  • Dmytro Tishchenko, co-founder and head of media outlet Cukr
  • Nataliya Romanyshyn, journalist at Texty.org
  • Yaryna Pynda, junior analyst at the Lviv Media Forum

Moderator — Olha Bilousenko, external research coordinator at the Lviv Media Forum.

The event will take place online via Zoom. To join the discussion, please fill out the registration form.
