Lviv Media Forum launches a Book Club

In collaboration with the creative space KIVSH and the publishing house Choven, Lviv Media Forum is bringing together people who want to discuss books. Every third Wednesday of the month, we invite everyone who values less noise and more meaning.

The book club will be led by Ihor Balynskyi — editor, media expert, and co-founder of Choven publishing house. He has read thousands of books and published dozens more.

We will explore non-fiction, fiction, and beyond. The first book will be chosen by the organizers, while future selections will be voted on by club members.

At our first meeting, we will discuss Timothy Snyder’s book On Freedom.

Date: Wednesday, September 17, at 5:00 p.m.

Venue: Zoretsvit restaurant (KIVSH space, 120 Shevchenko Street)

The discussion will last up to 1.5 hours.

Participation fee: 300 UAH (includes one drink from Zoretsvit)
