Lviv Media Forum is conducting a survey of Ukrainian journalists to understand their losses and needs during the full-scale war

We invite Ukrainian journalists, both freelancers and editorial staff, to participate in this survey. This effort is part of a broader study aimed at assessing the needs and losses of Ukraine's media sector. The findings will help the international community better understand the situation and plan effective strategies to support the rebuilding of Ukraine's media landscape.

All survey responses will remain anonymous, and only aggregated results will be published.

To participate in the survey, please complete the questionnaire.

🗓 Deadline: December 15, 23:59.

As a token of appreciation, we will hold a drawing for a set of ten books from Choven Publishing House among those who complete the survey. While the survey is anonymous, if you choose to enter the drawing, we will ask for your email to contact you if you win. Rest assured, your responses will remain anonymous within the study.

The research is based on the World Bank's Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment methodology. This project is developed and implemented by Lviv Media Forum in partnership with UNESCO and with the support of Japan. It is part of UNESCO's broader efforts to support journalist safety and freedom of expression in Ukraine. Our partners in this research include the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine and YouControl.
