
Nino Robakidze
IREX GeorgiaNino Robakidze has over 15 years of experience in journalism, media management, media relations, research, advocacy, civic activism, and project management. Currently, she serves as the manager of the Europe Center of IREX SAFE Initiative and as the Country Director for IREX Georgia.
In her current role, Nino Robakidze collaborates with the global team and partners of IREX to promote solidarity and partnerships among journalists, social communicators, and other stakeholders. This aims to establish a safe and free media environment in Europe’s Eastern Partnership countries.
Before joining IREX SAFE Initiative, Nino Robakidze led media programs at Transparency International – Georgia, focusing on research and advocacy initiatives to develop a vibrant civil society in the region.
Nino Robakidze has participated in various international educational and leadership programs and holds a master’s degree in Journalism and Media Management. Additionally, she has been teaching Freedom of Expression Theory and History at Caucasus University for over ten years.
