Media Camp 2021 for Journalists of Visegrad Four and Ukraine
NGO Lviv Media Forum (Ukraine) starts a call for Media Camp 2021 participants. The event for international journalists takes place in Lviv (Ukraine) from August 26, 2021, to September 1, 2021.
We invite the media professionals from Visegrad Four countries (Poland, The Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia) and Ukraine to apply till June 15. Media Camp is aimed at developing and strengthening professional networking between journalists and experts of mentioned countries. Through a range of lectures, discussions and presentations, the participants will deepen their understanding of internal processes in Ukraine. They will be able to produce qualitative content about Ukrainian events for the foreign media.
The speakers of the Camp are the most prominent Ukrainian experts in politics, national identity, business, and war in Ukraine. The experts will draw a picture of modern Ukrainian society and explain the nuances of Ukrainian internal and foreign policy.
NGO Lviv Media Forum encourages to apply media professionals who cover international events (in particular of CEE region) and lack contacts both with the colleagues from the region and the experts whose comments are essential in producing journalistic materials.
Media Camp 2021 program includes attending VIII Lviv Media Forum, the biggest media conference of Central East Europe (planned on August 26-28, 2021). The event gathers more than a thousand professionals from all over the world to discuss the latest trends and challenges of the media industry.
Media Camp is free for its participants. English is the working language of the event.
The organizers cover travel, accommodation and meal expenses. At the same time, the participants are obliged to follow all the quarantine rules and laws of Ukraine that will be valid at times of the Camp.
If the entrance to Ukraine is banned for foreigners due to epidemiological restrictions, the Camp will be held online.

The partners of the project are The Endowment Fund for Independent Journalism (The Czech Republic), Center for Independent Journalism (Hungary), Non-profit organization “Outriders” (Poland), Slovak Security Policy Institute (Slovakia).
The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
