VI Lviv Media Forum has begun. The main topic of the largest media event of the country in 2018 is “When Everything Becomes Media.”
According to the director of the Lviv Media Forum, Ostap Protsyk, when preparing for this year’s event, the team of organizers have been pondering on how to be directly engaged in the education of journalists.
“This year, a legendary Lviv journalist Andriy Kviatkovskyi passed away, and our colleague Yevhen Hlibovytskyi came up with a public initiative to create a fund in his memory. This fund will cover the tuition fees of one student of the Ukrainian Catholic University who will be selected by a specially created Cathedral chapter. So the Lviv Media Forum is going to join this fund,” informed Ostap Protsyk.
Associate Professor of UCU Journalism School Ihor Balynskyi has also announced today’s Oleksandr Kryvenko Prize “For Progress in Journalism” awarding ceremony. Today, at 17:30, within the framework of the Lviv Media Forum, the prize will be awarded for the fifteenth time.
