Dragana Nikolic Solomon

Dragana Nikolic Solomon is the Head of the Press and Public Information Unit at the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission. She is British, having grown up in former Yugoslavia. She was the Head of the Press and Public Information Office in EULEX Kosovo where she worked as senior strategic adviser communicating the rule of law. As Head of the Media Department in the OSCE Mission in Serbia, Dragana led the international effort to design and improve media legislation, and advance professional capacity and media freedom in Serbia. She was previously editor, journalist and co-founder of the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN), a group of interconnected media development NGOs covering the Balkans. Dragana has also covered the Balkan crisis from London, working as the Balkans Assistant Editor for the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR).
